Since 1986, the EMPLOYMENT MARKETPLACE has been providing the staffing industry trade news, tips and resources for staffing and recruiting professionals.

MEET THE TEAM

• Pat Turner, CEO and publisher of EMPLOYMENT MARKETPLACE / EMinfo.
  
  Pat has a degree in Business Administation with an emphasis in advertising and graphic design. Pat has been the driving force of EMinfo. Traveling the country to support industry association events, she continues to seek out Hot Topics and trends in the Staffing and Recruiting Industry. Some events she has attended include; NAPS Annual Conferences, ASA Staffing World, California Staffing Association, Florida Staffing Association, Illinois Search and Staffing Association, North Carolina Association of Staffing Professionals, MKSSA (Missouri and Kansas Search and Staffing Assn.), New England Association of Personnel Services, Tennessee Recruiters Association, NPAWorldWide Global Conferences, New York Staffing Association and IPA. She also attended several MRINetwork Global events and 2011 TechServe Alliance. She served as a Board Member (6 years) at Large on the National Association of Personnel Services.
  
  
• Tiffany Turner, Art Director
  
  Tiffany has been with the company since 2005 as head of the art department. She has a Fine Art Degree with graphic design background from the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri. She also has a background in photography. Tiffany enjoys the outdoors and lives in Southern Pines, NC.

TIME LINE

• 1986 - Created by Paul Hawkinson, publisher of The Fordyce Letter.
  
  
• 1989 - EM was purchased by Paul Mueller and Pat Turner.
  
  
• 1995 - www.eminfo.com was created and has been evolving ever since.
  
  
• 1995 April - software directory was included in EM.
  
  
• 2007 - EMinfo online monthly journal was launched. Inside EMinfo are highlights of local, regional and national conferences of staffing & recruiting associations across the U.S. Every month we talk with recruiters and share their success stories.  Included are regular features and columns on trends, training, and industry news.
  
  
• 2008 - The EMinfo Directory was created.  Includes: Industry associations, calendar of events, Industry specific resources, speakers, trainers, insurance, back office support, funders and more are listed in this annual printed book.  Printed in January.
  
  
• 2012 - Sept. redesigned www.eminfo.com - incorporating the latest tools and technology into this content rich site. Please visit us often.
  
  
• 2015 - EMinfo Directory was renamed  EMinfo Source.   A printed Industry Resources Guide - available throughout the year for staffing and recruiting professionals.
• 2020 EMinfo major redesign of EMinfo.com  Articles can be found thru google across the U.S. and the globe
• 2024 Visitors to EMinfo surpassed over 2 million
