After summer holidays and escapes, many of us feel stressed being back to the grind of work. With all the uncertainty it can get overwhelming. We are flooded with stories about Inflation, food shortages, supply chain issues, staffing shortages, economic and financial uncertainty and political tension. It can get downright depressing to read the paper! So what can you do? Scrap the paper, turn off the TV, get off social media and talk to real live person-your neighbor, friend or a family member or even a cashier!. Read a book, get outside and start to take charge of your health and life during this unprecedented time. Learn to grow food, learn to can or store food or pick up any new skill that keeps you growing as a person or help you better manage your firm or desk. Work hard but be smart and make sure to balance financial health with physical/mental and emotional health. Health truly is the best wealth and we must always start there.
I had the privilege to speak with one of the most well-respected recruiters in America recently on my new Podcast TishTalk, Jordan Rayboy, President of Rayboy Insider Search and respected Speaker in the Recruitment and Staffing industry.
