After summer holidays and escapes, many of us feel stressed being back to the grind of work. With all the uncertainty it can get overwhelming.  We are flooded with stories about Inflation, food shortages, supply chain issues, staffing shortages, economic and financial uncertainty and political tension. It can get downright depressing to read the paper! So what can you do? Scrap the paper, turn off the TV, get off social media and talk to real live person-your neighbor, friend or a family member or even a cashier!. Read a book, get outside and start to take charge of your health and life during this unprecedented time. Learn to grow food, learn to can or store food or pick up any new skill that keeps you growing as a person or help you better manage your firm or desk. Work hard but be smart and make sure to balance financial health with physical/mental and emotional health. Health truly is the best wealth and we must always start there.

I had the privilege to speak with one of the most well-respected recruiters in America recently on my new Podcast TishTalk, Jordan Rayboy, President of Rayboy Insider Search and respected Speaker in the Recruitment and Staffing industry. Jordan talks about how he achieved multiple years of million dollar earnings by tracking his success and facing all the obstacles (both external and internal) that held him back. We discuss how the pandemic woke him up to the importance of taking care of our health and why he gets up at 5:00 am to go mountain biking most days. Jordan talks about travelling around the US in an RV with his wife and 3 kids and his love of his farm property in Oregon. He opens up about his bad habit of smoking marijuana that started to derail his life and how he cleaned up his act to become his best self. Jordan still strives for success but does it now in a more balanced way. His current focus is creating a life he loves with a priority on being a good Dad, husband and healthy person in every way. Jordan shares many inspiring ideas to help people take charge of their health and build a better life no matter what the obstacles.
