The 5th Annual Midwest Staffing Conference!

Mark your calendars, gather your business cards, and get set for an action packed day of staffing fun, the Midwest Staffing Conference is fast approaching! For anyone that works in the staffing industry in the Midwest region, the conference has become one of the “must-go” events of the year. This year’s Midwest Staffing Conference will take place on May 19th, 2016 in Rolling Meadows, IL.    The conference is co-chaired by the Illinois Search & Staffing Association (ISSA) and the Wisconsin Association of Staffing Services (WASS).

The Midwest Staffing Conference features vibrant breakout sessions, diverse vendors, and lively presentations from industry-leading professionals. In addition, the conference offers terrific networking opportunities to meet fellow staffing pros. The conference attracts a wide range of attendees from states including Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, and Kansas. Now entering its 5th year, the conference has become the biggest multi-state conference for staffing professionals in the Midwest. 

Every year the conference is headlined by an impressive line-up of guest speakers and workshop clinicians. This year is no exception and will showcase another set of highly accomplished and engaging presenters. Leading off, Gregg Gregory will kick start the day by delivering the keynote address, Teamwork Makes the Dream Work, centering on how to create stronger teams that lead to greater efficiency and employee happiness. A Certified Speaking Professional, Gregg brings more than 25 years of experience working with all levels of corporate America. His presentations blend humor, insightful anecdotes, and real-world examples to captivate audiences. Gregg will also be leading one of the Breakout sessions, inspiring attendees to improve team culture with his presentation People, Personalities and the Plague: Navigating Workplace Relationships. 

The Midwest Staffing Conference will also feature Breakout sessions led by Amy Bingham, who brings over 17 years of sales leadership experience in the staffing industry. Amy has spoken and trained at many national staffing industry conferences and client events. Her articles have been published in Staffing Industry Review magazine and are frequently published and shared online. Amy will conduct sessions that include how to present candidates to win and how staffing firms can differentiate themselves in a competitive marketplace. Her expertise and wide range of experience can assist attendees with accelerating their firm’s growth.  

Dina Simon, CEO of Simon Say Lead, will also be leading Breakout sessions, and sharing her strategies for successful leadership and organizational effectiveness. She has extensive experience with talent recruitment and development, as well as managing national client partnerships and sales teams. Dina has consulted with Fortune 100 companies on developing their greatest asset – their people. She is also the author of Make Unstoppable Simple – Creative Problem Solving in Life and Leadership

 

The Conference is also excited to welcome Greg Doersching¸ Creator and Owner of Bullseye Recruiting – one of the leading Recruiting Training programs in the country. Greg is also President of the Griffin Search Group, a National Search Firm. With over 20 years of experience “in the trenches” of the staffing industry, Greg’s area of expertise lies in developing and building Direct Hire and Contract recruiting divisions. Greg has been recognized as one of the “Top Producers” in the state of Wisconsin and is a frequent guest speaker at prominent industry events for the National Association of Personnel Services, American Staffing Association, Association of Canadian Search and many more. He has also served as President of the Wisconsin Association of Personnel Services and currently sits on their Board of Directors. His Breakout sessions on the Direct Hire track are not to be missed!

After five years of unforgettable events, the Midwest Staffing Conference is poised for its best year yet! Each step of the day’s journey will be rich with networking opportunities and the chance to meet like-minded staffing professionals from around the Midwest.
